Round 1 picks for the newly placed second major of the year, the PGA Championship. This major allows qualifying for PGA certified Professionals from around the country, possibly including the one from your local club. Just one of the cool things about this major.

Pretty safe to say this is the least prestigious of the four majors. The PGA Championship produces some of the least memorable major winners. Some names that have won since Tiger came onto the scene twenty years ago: Rich Beem, Shaun Micheel, Yang Yong-eun, Keegan Bradley, Jason Dufner, and Jimmy Walker.

A venue like Bethpage feels like it should produce a worthy champion, but time will tell.

Onto the important stuff: First Round Matchups. Providing a lot of picks to choose from this go around. Let’s get started.
